All aboard..........

Simply coloring is finally coming about with new posts starting now! I am well into production of new designs for coloring. I am excited about all of it. The ball is rolling! Today I am going to start off talking about coloring these designs. I like to use colored pencils. I use the prismacolor premier pencils which are just the best in my book for coloring. These are a smooth and creamy pencil which shows that there is a wax base to them....but the blending and color hue is just great! All of my friends that have seen a preview of what is yet to come and have commented on the "color" of the pencils used....how bright and beautiful they are! If you do not want to invest in that particular pencil yet, then I recommend the 50 colored pencil set that Crayola makes. It is a lower price point to start out with and has a nice lead pencil to color with. Depending where you buy them they range between 7.99 to 9.99 a set. Shop around and watch for sales! Prismacolor pencils can be purchased at local craft stores as well as online. Some of the basic sets are great to start out with and then you can add more individual colors to it. Actually I find that I use certain colors all the time. I look all over for the best value I can get in purchasing my art supplies. Some of the craft stores offer a coupon which comes in handy on the initial purchase of the starter set of your choice. Watch for the next post as I will be offering a "Free" pattern to get you rolling!
